The congregation first met for worship service in a house at Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya on 4th September 1994. Initial support for this new congregation came from the Kuala Lumpur church of Christ as well as personal contributions of early members.
From December 1994 to 2009, the church met at two different rented shop lots at Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya before finally moving to its own current premises at Section 17, Petaling Jaya.
Throughout this period, we had the privilege of brother Peter Bang as full-time preacher, brother Charlie diPalma as teacher and preacher, visiting preachers and local brethren who served to build up the faith of the members as well as to reach out to the lost.
Various events and activities have been organised to-date. These included bible lectureship, seminar, gospel meetings, zoom services, children’s camps, tract distribution, blood donation effort, fellowship outings, annual camps, et cetera.
The church provides aid and support to individual Christians, preachers, bible colleges, and needy congregations locally as well as overseas.
The church is a registered body to comply with local laws and regulations.
